Huon LINC is an exciting facility that makes it easier for people in the Huon Valley to access information services and life long learning opportunities.
Huon LINC brings together a number of government and community organisations such as the Library + Online Access Centre, Centrelink, Service Tasmania, Business Enterprise Centre and the Magistrates Court under the one roof.
Training providers use the Huon LINC as their base in the Huon Valley to deliver education and training programs. These include Tasmanian Polytechnic who deliver Grade 11 and 12 courses and VET courses. A full time Coordinator, Program Support Officer and Literacy Coordinator work with the Huon LINC tenants as well as other organisations in the Huon Valley, to facilitate a wide range of education, training and information programs.
Huon LINC also provides high quality training and meeting rooms at an affordable cost for the community, organisations and training providers.
